Hello

So glad you’re here. I write about living the intentional life, fixing our eyes on Christ, and resting in grace. My hope is that you are encouraged.

A very normal morning scene, to be filed under “things I want to remember” 💛
Sunday morning vibes ➕ loving on and teaching these littles is so worthwhile, even on cold and rainy days, even after doing it all week with my own littles, even when I don’t feel like it. This is good work, right here.
“The older I get, the more I realize that time is the big, precious, non-renewable resource.”
We celebrated 13 🎉 years 🎉 this week 🥳 and while the week was veeery normal, I’ve been filled with gratitude for him, for the gift of this life together, for the gifts that have come from our life together. I remember my Grandma sharing with me, after 60 years (!!!) of marriage to my Grandpa, “Beth, the s*x is so much better the second thirty years than the first…” 😂 and it’s one of my treasured bits of wisdom from her; really, some of the best marriage advice I’ve had. And I know their entire marriage sweetened with time. So we’re holding tight, through the storms and calm of life, seeing God’s grace as abundantly sufficient, and believing it’s just getting better and better ✨
This girl, our baby and yet four big years old. She brings so much joy and sunshine and laughter, saying the darnedest things and giving all the varieties of kisses 💛 #thankfulinSA
Ben’s mom headed home earlier this week. So grateful for two very special and sweet weeks with her. She loves us all so well 💛 #thankfulinSA
“Peace comes from recognizing that our real task is to wake up each day and get our marching orders from God. It comes from diligence to the work He hands us, but diligence infused with faith, with resting in God’s promises to guide and bless us.” [Sarah Mackenzie]
Hey friends, long time 👋 On the other side of April now, and I’m grateful. April will always be a difficult month for my family; but also, I am reminded of God’s nearness to the brokenhearted, of his steadfast love in the midst of loss, and the light of his goodness and grace and kingdom breaking into this world. ☀️🍂🍁
